Job Description


Head of Alternative Fuels is accountable for finding a solid business case and value proposition for new strategy, responsible for market implementation and clear strategy how to tackle the Alternative Fuels market. He/ she may be supervizing several products and product owners. Head of Alternative Fuels is accountable for P&L and responsible for complex visions, long term goal, stream roadmap, alignment to company strategy, alignment with another streams.

  • BO is accountable for delivering the P&L (Sales, Gross margin & EBIDTA, Cash) of its business unit planned by the board of the company.
  • BO is responsible for people, motivation & shared values in business unit & healthy atmosphere of his team and against other business units.
  • BO is responsible for aligning BU OKRs with other business units toward the company strategy.
  • BO is responsible for vision, mission, targets & strategy of his business unit.
  • BO is a small CEO, responsible for overall success of his team and business unit on the market analyzing the market and choosing tactics to achieve the overall success.
  • BO owns all resources needed to achieve the goals of its business unit and is fully responsible for its spending to achieve the P&L based on targets & strategy. In case of shared resources within a company, he is responsible to understand the scope and plan shared resources to deliver the outcomes.
  • BO knows the market, competition extremely well and operate from a strong basis of knowledge of confidence.
  • BO takes full responsibility and measures themselves in terms of the success of the business unit.
  • BO gets a P&L reports from financial department on regular / monthly basis for all of its products & teams to better prioritize outcomes of the teams.
  • BO co-operates with other parts of the company, such HR, Finance, Marketing, Sales CEO, Board to achieve the goals of the business units.
  • BO escalates to the Steering Board if he is not capable to deliver due to company circumstances.
  • BO prioritize the priorities aligned with overall company strategy and goals and P&L of business unit.
  • BO selects, hires, motivates & make proposals to promote/leave business unit team members.
  • BO owns overall budget to motivate his team members to goal achievements.
  • BO acts in the best interest of the company and business unit & request all team-members to do so.
  • BO reports to the Board of Directors and gets approval for annual budget from the SIB.
  • BO focus the team on revenue and customers.

Qualifications
  • Mature, senior commercial person,
  • Accountable, and independent,
  • Hands-on, creates work, materials independently,
  • Mobile, travels with sales, travels alone, visits clients,
  • Team worker, Collaborative
  • Industry background. Background in gas (needs to understand the market and trends-green deal etc, knows suppliers, competitors, risks, challenges...)
  • Commercial acumen / background (he /she will attend sales meetings together with sales teams )
