Lead the only John Fluevog Shoes in Europe experience in your store as a shoe-loving, creative Store Manager who’s excited about the idea of working with other multi-talented, hard-working and hugely modest professionals to promote the JFS brand in weird and wonderful ways.
The role of Store Manager extends beyond that of a typical retail manager to provide an in-person experience that personifies the soul of Fluevog. Sales, store operations and personnel management are key areas of performance. The Store Manager also acts as a liaison between head office and retail store staff, keeping everyone informed of what's happening in the company. Being an active part of the local community is also an important role of the Store Manager.

The Store Manager must ensure
- Store opens and closes on time and in accordance with Fluevog policies.
- Staff must be properly trained and motivated.
- Inventory is always organized and presented neatly.
- All reports are prepared and presented in a timely manner.
- Policies and procedures are understood and followed by everyone in the store.
- And above all, communication is authentic and honest.
Supervisory Responsibilities
As the primary store supervisor, the Store Manager ensures customer interactions are always at the highest standard to best reflect and grow the brand. Training and coaching should be delivered in a way that is suited to each employee's learning style. Information must be shared between head office and retail employees on a consistent basis. The Store Manager is also responsible for maintaining the brand's integrity and leading by example.

- Fluent and charming conversation level in both Dutch and English, written and spoken
- A minimum of basic computer and technology skills

Qualifications
Store Manager Amsterdam must-haves:
- Minimum of 3 years of management experience
- Currently hold and maintain a valid right to work in the Netherlands
- Basic computer and technology skills (Gmail, iOS, internal POS software)
- Below-average karaoke skills
- Positivity, creativity, and a willingness to learn
- A real understanding and eagerness to foster community and build trusting relationships
- Physically able to perform all in-store tasks such as lifting up to 15 kilos, kneeling and crawling around the floor (funny, but true!), climbing ladders and stairs, and standing for up to eight hours.
