We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team.
In this role, you will:

- Support HBCN ITCOO in business management related activities including but not limited to: Financial Management, Workforce Management, Third Party Management/IT Outsourcing, etc.
- Manage IT Financials for supported HBCN IT teams, including Annual Planning, under/over recovery analysis, direct cost management, understand and challenge if required Charges to Business targets in TM1, etc.
- Work with HBCN IT teams in passthrough/accrual submissions
- Be on top of all 3rd Party engagement belonging to IT, such as comprehensive list of all 3rd Party engagement, payment schedule and status, obtaining all necessary approvals, ensure information accuracy in all 3rd Party management systems such as TPSPartner with local Finance in understanding financial positon of HBCN IT teams
- Perform monthly IT invoice substantiation to ensure IT charges are billed correctly and raise billing disputes on the businesses and functions behalf for incorrect charges
- Lead the monthly CAM review process for supported HBCN IT
- Generate regular MI on various topics such as year-to-date invoices and payments, outstanding disputes, under/over recovery, and any other ad hoc reports required
- Partner with HBCN IT leads in managing workforce, including maintenance of current headcount in Pioneer, recruitment, obtaining necessary approvals, etc.
- Building and maintain strong, professional relationship with internal and external stakeholders (e.g. IT risk team, RC/ORR, Outsourcing vendors, etc.)
- Contributing to establishing and maintain an effective IT internal outsourcing management framework including governance meeting, policy & procedure, standard template and other tools
- Liaise with all IT teams, coordinate and drive for timely submission/closure on all reports/tasks cascaded from Bank TPM team and Regulator
- Conduct reasonable quality checking to the received outsourcing data from IT TPEMs to mitigate risks due to inconsistence of data.
- Support and Coordinate internal and external regulator inspection /audit on IT outsourcing management, work with respective issue owner to timely closure of all remediation actions
- Acting as IT outsourcing governance expertise by providing the guidance to IT TPEMs
- Provide regular training to IT TPEMs based on the procedure/policy change.
- Day to Day support activities in helping to run the IT operations
- Support any other ad hoc requests
To be successful in the role, you should meet the following requirements:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; experience of working with diverse teams
- Past experience in working in technology organization in banking industry.
- Bachelor Degree above is a Must and majored in Finance and/or IT related is a preffered.
- Proficiency in verbal and written English, especially proficient in email communication and reporting
- Must possess excellent attention to detail and ability to investigate items in detail
- Logical and analytical thinking
- Strong understanding of the IT recharges eco-system
- Versed in HSBC intercompany recharge mechanism
- Working knowledge of accounting principles such as Capitalization and Amortizations
- Strong customer focus and commitment to delivery; Excellent problem solving and User support skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced dynamic environment to deliver high quality results under tight schedule and high pressure
- In-depth understanding of GPDM, Clarity, Pioneer, Cognos and other new Technology and financial management information systems, Regulatory requirement in China and IT outsourcing experiences.
- Proficient in MS Excel and MS PowerPoint; knowledge of basic Data Analysis is a plus
- Self-starter and able to perform with minimal supervision
- Basic knowledge about software and development lifecycle (preferred)
- Working in a global team with different cultures (preferred)
- Capability to handle multi-tasks and work under pressure
